    Volunteers Needed Friday, November 6

Can you believe it?  The Playground is set to be delivered in a matter of weeks and we will be trucking in dirt to fill and grade the land in preparation this weekend.

Since bringing in the fill is a potentially messy process, we are in need of volunteers to help sweep up the entrance road after the trucks are finished for the day.  One group is needed this Friday (Nov. 6) at 4:00 p.m..  We may need another group if the deliveries go into Saturday but will share updates via email and this website.

Please respond on-line to let us know if you think you will be able to help out on Friday.  Bring a push-broom and flat shovel if you have them.

Please pass this on to friends who would also like to help with the process over the next couple of weeks as we are sure to need much more help with everything from prep to install to cleanup, not to mention morale support and sugary treats to keep the crew going!

    Thank you!!!!!  -The Playground Committee

    CONFIRMATION 2009

Our Bishop, the Most Reverend Dale Melczek, will come to our parish on Sunday, 13 December 2009, to administer the Sacrament of Confirmation during our Noon Mass.  People who have completed our parish’s eight years of religious education at the elementary school level, or who are presently in the eight grade religious education programs,  and who will have completed several other requirements will be eligible.  We ask that you come to the parish office to pick-up the Confirmation Information hand-out and to register for preparation.  You will be writing a letter and meeting with your pastor, and we will have an information meeting about how the Sacrament is received.  Your religious formation classes are giving you an idea about how the Sacrament is lived.

People of other ages, people who have had religious education experiences at other parishes before moving into our area, or who have not completed the usual religious education requirements may meet with Fr. Meade to discuss what they will need to be prepared for the fruitful celebration of Confirmation which may be at another time other than the Bishop’s December visit.
